I've been pretty bad about not updating this. It's hard sometimes when you have all this stuff to do to keep on track, get focused, and then follow through without getting overwhelmed and distracted.
I have a few more shots in my deviant art gallery and hope to be doing some still life shots this evening. I'm going for a black and white or subdued color on vintage glassware today.
You know, I've come to a conclusion. There are enough crazy, mean, evil people out there who have been successful with their art, etc. It's time for a nice one to get the chance for a change.

In today's story, girls and boys
Yes, the blog title sounds like a kids book, but it's the only thing remotely memorable that wasn't taken. I can't say "anna's photography" because I'm doing a lot more than that, etc etc. So shoot me.
Anyway, the mission statement (can you tell I've been dealing with working the business plan?) is to provide myself with a daily PUBLIC diary of what I have done, what I have learned, and what I have accomplished. I figure that if I want to get lazy, I figure knowing that my mom can read it is enough motivation to get to work. If I get "artist's" block, then I'll need the support.
Also, it's good to show what I've been doing to answer those annoying "So what do you do all day?" questions. I thought since my homeschooling days were over, so would be that question as I have no plans to become a mother (and deal with the annoying anti-SAHM crowd) or "just" a hausfrau.
Today I am working on:
I leave you with a link to my deviantart gallery. You can comment here if you do not want to join there, which if you are not an artist/writer/or anything else, I do not suggest that you do.

Today I am working on:
- Fixing the website. It's suffering from one-person-perfectionitis at the moment which is the inverse of the common committee syndrome. Basically, it's time to shoot the artist, but unfortunately, the site must still go up. Therefore, we're bringing in the reserves (me) to breathe some fresh, i.e. less frustrated, perspective on it. This is why being a partnership is so valuable, you get to trade off when these sorts of situations occur. (And switch off dealing with irritating clients, doing the paperwork, etc.)
- Figuring out *again* how to do popup windows that link to a resized box with Javascript. Which reminds me -- WHY are we doing this when I thought we had created a flash-based gallery. Let's revert to that unless Matt has other reasons to do what he's doing.
- Making my outrageous list of stuff I want/need for photography/the business and WHY. No "playing office" here!
- If I have time, I should really edit some photos from yesterday's photo shoot and put them on deviantart.
